Sorry its been so long since I've written. I've just been so busy lately. Here's what's been going on:
I had joined a fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi. They were cool and all at first. Then they all turned to jerks. They started bossing us around, taking up all of time, and using us to get them food on our meal plan. So this past weekend the 3 Amigos (me, and my friends Joey and Phil) went to Waco to visit Joey's girlfriend. But the thing with the frat was that you had to ask permission to go out on the weekend. Well, we were like "forget that mess" and just went anyway. Once they found out that we had left for the weekend, they started blowing up our cell phones. The easiest thing for us to do was just not to answer. We thought they were gonna kick us out when we got back at school. Well, they didn't, although most of them wanted to. See here's the thing: Delta Sigma Phi is a pretty well know fraternity, just not here at SFA. It's the smallest frat on campus: 16 active members. Half of those guy will be gone next year. Here's what I've learned; frats go through cycles. Maybe for two years they have a lot of people and then the next two years there aren't as many people. Right now its like a supply and demand type situation. There's a demand of pledges and we're the supply. So the only reason that they didn't kick us out was because they really needed. But yesterday was when everything went wrong. One of the actives was mad that we weren't kicked out. He was planning to jump us at our weekly Monday night meeting. Well we got word of it and rounded up of posse (we seriously have a posse, including me, 3 other black dude that love to get into fights, a Mexican, and this big white boy that lives next door to me). Before anything could go down, we got a call from the president saying were kicked out of the frat. I was kinda upset, but on the other hand, my calender is free (again).
So while we were in Waco visiting Joey's girlfriend, some crazy stuff happened. Friday night when we got there, we went out to eat at this place called Cricket's. It's like resturant, bar and grill type place. They've got pool tables, fuseball (sp?) tables, and dart boards. Right before we left, I went to the restroom. So I was walking past one of the pool tables, I looked over and I saw my lab teacher, drinking a beer. I went and talked to him for a little then I went on my merry way. We went back to the motel room and started the night off. Then we went to this frat party. It was just like the first party they had in the movie "Old School". There must have been like 70-80 people there. They had four Gatorade coolers full if trashcan punch. I was walking around and I ran into Katie Rubli. Of all the times and places to run into to people from your high school.
Well that's all for now.....
There you go Sean.
