'Ol Brandon Bonaparte

Today had to be one the best days I've had in a while. Classes went well, which is a first. After class I bumped into Ray and Marcus. We headed on down to the UC to get some lunch. When we had finished our lunch we went over to the "Post-Up Spot". The Post-Up Spot is where we just sit and watch all the people go by. We sat out there for about 2 hours, just talking to random people walking by, most of them being girls. Around 3 I had to leave to go to a study group. Then as soon as we got out, I went right back to the spot with the fellas.

So Friday night I was flipping through the channels, when I saw the Dukes of Hazzard. I was only gonna watch one episode. But one episode quickly turned into like 12 episodes. Luckily for me CMT (Country Music Television) was having a 3 day Dukes of Hazzard marathon. So now I am a dieheart Dukes fan. Who'da thunk.

Let the games begin.

Welcome To Hazzard County

Did you know that there were black people on Dukes of Hazzard? You learn something new everyday.

Today wasn't a bad day. The classes seemed longer than usual today for some reason. After classes today, me and the fellas went to go hoop down at the courts. I think that I'm starting to get better in the game. I've stepped my hustle up a whopping 30%. Can you say "Baller"?

Save me from the "weak"-end.

Guess Who Has A Case Of The Mondays

I figured out that there is a title feature on my blog. So now you have the pleasure of reading a title before you read the blog. No thanks needed.

Surprisingly enough, this past weekend wasn't like the past "weak"-ends I've had. Friday night I went to Crockett, Tx with Katy and some of her friends to go see Katy's high school basketball team play. I actually had a lot of fun at the game. I started to get into the game like the parents there did. You know, yelling at the ref for making a bad call and all that good stuff. Most people there thought I was crazy. What can I say, when your right, your right. So after the game we came back to Nac and went to the 431. The 431 is where some of the guys from the Great Escape live (the Great Escape is a young adult church service). After a couple of Airsoft wars, we sit down for a nice game of Trivial Pursuit: Pop Culture edition. Those guys were ruthless at that game. I wouldn't say that they beat us, I'd say that it was a massacre. I'll be ready for next time. So around 12:30-1:00 we all get the late night muchies, so skip on down to Taco Bell. I ordred the Grande meal which consists of 10 cruchy taco. And just to be crazy I ordered a bean burrito. Lemme tell you something, that is not really the best situation to put your stomach in at 1 in the morning. But oh well, what can you do about it?

Saturday went at a very slow pace. I went to eat lunch with my roommate and one of his frat brothers. We decided to go see the movie "Constintine". All I have to say is "WOW". Its a must see, don't download it (like I'm doing right now). So After the movie I went downt to Joey and Phil's room. I beat Karlton in NBA Street Vol. 3 four times before he beat me with a gamebreaker. Then the Halo began. We played all night, literally. I didn't go back to my room until about 8:30. Never doing that again.

Alright, time to go workout.

Wednesday morning, 12:08 a.m.

Tonight I went to church with Katy, which was quite fun. As Katy was going around introducing me to her friends, many of them were like "Oh yeah, I know you" or "Yeah, I've seen you before". One guy said that he had seen me at the football games before, heckling the opposing team. Another girl says that she remembers me from class last semester as "the guy that was asleep for most of the class". Brandon James, gotta love him.

After church, me and my running buddy went on our "Wal-Mart run". We start off at the dorms, run about 2 miles east to the local Wal-Mart, then south for 2.5 miles, then 3.5 miles west back to campus. Boy are my legs tired.

G'night.

Oh yeah, Top Bunk Ballers.

I decided to write an entry before I got lost in "the world of geology". It finally feels like I'm really in the groove of college: spending hours at the library studying, pulling all nighter studying, having a roommate (finally), asking mom and dad for money (but that's nothing new). I kinda like it here in Nac, it's not too big, not to small, but just right. Have a good night.

It was obvious to me that I wasn't supposed to get any sleep this morning. The alarm on the car parked outside of my kept going off every 10 minutes, literally. Then, what really got me, was what was going on outside in the hall. The maintenance crew was taking down the old light fixtures and putting new ones in, with no consideration for those who were still asleep.

This past weekend we went to visit my Joey's girlfriend up at Baylor. The most fun I had? Going to the mall and sleeping.

What else is there to talk about?

First thing first. I wanna say Happy Birthday to my sister, Drew.

What's going on, everybody who still reads this (Miree and Steven). There was something that I wanted to write in this post......oh yeah, I just remembered. About two weeks ago, my roommate moved out. So now I have a new roommate. His name is Joseph. He's a pretty cool cat, even though he took the bottom bunk. But I let him have because I'm a nice guy. Ok I'm gonna go to bed. Later
