So, a while back I found my "journal" from back in the day. And by back in the day, I mean like 6th grade, 10+ years ago. After reading some of this, I thought it'd be fun/interesting/an-easy-way-of-posting-and-not-posting-at-the-same-time. I'm going to type these in original form, with all incorrect spelling and grammar. Here's the first entry:
December 18, 1996 - Wednesday: Today is a very slow day. The news said it would snow today. But instead it snowed last night. In science we watched a movie about two polar bears, Klondike and Snow. Their mom left them. When they got too big for their exibit in Denver, the moved to Florida. In P.E. we played basketball. Our team lost all but one game. The game we won I sunk two; one Nothin' but Net & one Over The Head Toss. But it was fun. The rest of the day had no meaning. Days 'til Christmas break: 2
Speaking of snow, it actually snowed here in Houston today. I heard it made national news. I literally snowed from when I woke up at 8:47am until about 6pm. Now, when I say snow, I don't mean the white fluffy snow you see in Chicago or Colorado or those other place. No, this was more like frozen rain drops falling from the sky. They didn't stick to the ground, but they were able to stick to my car.
As much as I would like to stay and chat, I must be going. This negro has to be up for work in about 7 hours. Peace out and kick rocks.
