The Face That Launched 1000 Shits

Rise and shine. It's a new month, and this my first post of said month. I'm proud to say that I officially have a longboard quiver. I'd post a picture but my camera is M.I.A. at the moment. I currently own:
  • a Sector9 OG Cloud with: 180mm Paris trucks, Orangatang In Heat wheels (75mm 80a) with Bones Reds bearings
  • a Gravity Indian Sunset with: 150mm Ace trucks, Earthwing Superball Freeriders (70mm 81a) with Bones Reds bearings
  • an Earthwing Mystery Model with: 180mm Paris trucks, Abec11 Retro BigZigs (75mm 86a) with Bones Reds bearings
There's a longboard race next weekend. Definitely excited about testing out my new board. When I got my first deck, I wanted to name it Texas Floods, after the Stevie Ray Vaughn song. I thought that'd be cool, so I wanted to name every board I got after that after a Stevie Ray Vaughn song. So when I got my second board I gave it a name after a Stevie Ray Vaughn song. But after a while, I thought that'd be super whack, so I kept the Sector9 as Texas Floods. I named my Gravity board Little Wing. Now, see, it originally was a Jimi Hendrix song that Stevie Ray covered, so it's technically not his song. With the Earthwing, I decided to change it up. I wanted to give it an off-the-wall kind of name. So I named it Balthasaar. Pretty badass, I know.

It's finally starting to get cold here in Houston. By cold, I mean it dropped in to the 60's here. Texans go crazy when it gets cold here. It dropped down to 65 the other night, and I saw people breaking out their peacoats, parkas, and scarves. Seriously? It's not that cold. Ya'll are either eager to break out the winter gear and rock that argyle sweater (like myself), or y'all just don't know how to act it the weather.

I think it's about time for a new pair of Chucks. Straight up.
